Lies, damned lies, and the sexual grievance industry.

Here are some things that are not true:
Girls as young as 11 'expect' to have to perform sex acts on rows of boys for up to two hours at a time in parts of London
Not true.
Deputy Children’s Commissioner Sue Berelowitz said there 'isn’t a town, village or hamlet in which children are not being sexually exploited'.
That is not true either.
In one vile abuse case she uncovered, boys aged 14 and 15 were 'summoned' via BlackBerry Messenger to the gang rape of a 'very, very young girl' which lasted several days.
That's also not true. Not even slightly.
'We should start from the assumption that children are being sexually exploited right the way across the country.'
That is definitely not true, and would be an extremely dangerous approach that would beget a plague of false allegations.
And it was 'quite common' for girls to be lured via internet chat rooms to meet a friend, only to be met by a group of boys and gang raped in a park.

'Then another group of boys come, they take her to another part of the park and she is serially raped again,' Ms Berelowitz told MPs.
And then they shit down her throat, tear her arms off and murder her family. Oh wait, no, that doesn't happen, because none of this is true.
She said she was 'extremely concerned' about the role being played by the internet in enabling and fuelling abuse, and ridiculed the idea that parents could prevent access.
How could we possibly expect parents to control their children's access to the internet? Only the state can save us now!

In this time of austerity and budget cuts, even bigger and more outrageous lies are needed to keep the sexual grievance industry in good financial health.

In years to come, when this shit is exposed as the fabricated moral panic that it most definitely is, I will be there to say I told you so, you fucking idiots. All they have to do is put the fear and revulsion in you, and you'll part with your money and your liberty, no questions asked. Maybe we could learn from our mistakes this time. But since we learned fucking nothing from the Satanic ritual abuse scares, the recovered memories scandal, the Salem witch trials and McCarthyism, I hold no particular hope that human societies shall ever develop a healthy enough sense of skepticism to stop scoundrels from exploiting us like this.

Schopenbecq's next post practically writes itself ...
